A TASTE OF CORNWALL: RECIPES AND RAMBLINGS
EDITED BY ANN BUTCHER & KENNETH ANNAND
A book of traditional and historical recipes along with black & white photos mix up real well in this title. A few contemporary recipes are tossed in along with the historical. There is a chapter on fish followed by recipes for all kinds of seafood using historic sources. There is a chapter on saffron; lots of type used on puddings, cakes and biscuits. Other recipes show the historical contrast between the diet of gentry and working Cornishmen.
