PLYMOUTH IN WAR & PEACE
By Guy Fleming
Many black and white photos showing the city before and after the more than 50 Nazi bombing attacks the city suffered during world war II. Any spare bombs left over were dropped on Cornwall before the pilots returned to Germany. Plymouth, of course, has a close connection to Cornwall in many ways and was a major naval port during the war.
